Do not blame your broken family background, I lost my father at the age of 9 and was chased out of my hometown. Do not tell me you are poor, I lived off field mice and battling to the life and death was my occupation and lifestyle. Do not tell me you inherited a small country, I began with no friends except my little shadow, but amassed the largest and fiercest army this world has ever known. Do not tell me you have no ability or education, I do not even know how to write my own name but heeded the words of others to make wise decisions. Do not tell me the situation is too tough, that the only way out is to give up, I had a sword to my neck but escaped, and had my cheek ruptured by a arrow and lived. Your enemy is not around you, but within. If seemingly unconquerable walls stood in my way, I knocked them all down. And the moment I overcame, I became Genghis Khan -Genghis Khan annuls- Genghis Khan was arguablly the greatest military leader the world has ever known. He also had the largest empire history has ever known. From the lows of lows through adversity and hardship, he rised from the ashes to become someone that no one believed possible. This generation really lacks the drive and passion to accomplish anything eh? It was a wakeup call for me as well. and on a happier note, a letter my student wrote me as I left for Korea/Israel I can't honestly say that I'm not scared of Joe
He is able to bring people lower than low
When you see his straight face as we groan through PT
His heartfelt affection is so hard to see
We only recently started to call him our pastor
But he always received the respect of a master
None of this matters, nevertheless
In this far away country and dangerous mess
Israel is where Pastor Joe has been sent
The population of Christians is but .4 percent
There's no doubt that God will change his whole life
Perhaps even introduce him to a wife
It's almost too much for me to have to say
That all we can do is simply to pray -Emily Hwang I shall keep it in my cardiovascular archives!
